Stroll along Germany's longest promenade and enjoy a clear view of the sea for 4.8 kilometres. Right behind the promenade you will find the elegant “Ostseeallee”, an avenue flanked by beautifully renovated mansions in the original style. Cafes, boutiques and craft shops invite you to coffee and cakes, and to find that special gift to take back home.

The Kühlungsborn marina, that opened in 2004, attracts all visitors with its maritime charm. It offers a fabulous view along the promenade onto the bustling goings-on within the harbour. Take a stroll along the adjoining pier for a great view out to sea, or hop aboard one of the local pleasure boats for a wonderful sightseeing trip.

How about art and culture during your holiday? The Kühlungsborn Gallery of Arts offers exhibitions, concerts, readings, lectures and courses. Studio “Kröhnke” presents works of art from three generations of painters.
Train station Kühlungsborn West is more than just the train station of the historical narrow-gauge railway “Molli” for it shelters a railway museum and cafe as well. The variety of events from concerts to sports won't allow you to get bored.
